Hi, I’m Loey Jones-Perpich!

About me!

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I am an actor, playwright, and director based in Brooklyn, NY. I am a member of the Emerson College Class of 2024, having graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and Performance, as well as a minor in Hearing and Deafness. At Emerson, I was an EVVY award nominee, and as a senior, received the Nicole duFresne award for women in acting and playwriting. As an actor, I am trained in the Linklater, Alexander, and Meisner Techniques, stage combat (broadsword, quarterstaff, rapier and dagger), improvisation, movement, musical theatre singing, and devising. Favorite credits include After Magritte (Thelma), Little Women (Jo March), Death of a Salesman (Willy Loman), The Secret in the Wings (Actor 3), and As You Like It (Duke Frederick). In the spring of 2024, I was invited to collaborate in a movement-based workshop of Space Rock | Doorstop by Annie G. Levy. I recently wrapped up a year of portraying Mrs. Sarah Pierce Grant at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and moved to New York City!

Outside of my theatrical sphere, I am an avid knitter, crocheter, and sewer of my own clothes. I occasionally play the flute, and have found a deep sense of empowerment in learning and practicing American Sign Language. I am the proud mom of the coolest cat in the world, and am proud to report that I recently surpassed my goal of reading 20 books in 2025.
